China Gene Medicine Valley welcomes first high-end dental implant manu

On July 6, Zhejiang Trusyou Medical Instruments Co., Ltd.  started construction of its headquarters in China’s Genetic Medicine Valley, and signed a contract with Meihao Medical Group Co., Ltd. for cooperative investment. It is reported that Truysou is the first and currently the only company in Wenzhou to obtain registration approval for Class III implantable medical devices, filling the local gap in the production, research and development, and qualifications of implanted medical device products, and filling the gap in the domestic high-end dental implant field. Zhejiang Trusyou Medical Instruments Co., Ltd. was founded in 2012, integrating R&D, design, production and sales. Its product sales cover more than 50 countries and regions including North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, and has a number of oral implants. Relevant Class III, Class II, and Class I registrations and filings, as well as multiple invention patents. In 2023, Truysou headquarters and R&D and production base will be settled in the Wenzhou Medical Device Headquarters Park in China's Genetic Medicine Valley. It will mainly engage in the research and development and production of a series of products such as domestic dental implant systems, surgical tools and instruments, advanced biomaterials and all-round digital implant solutions.

Medical devices in my country are divided into three levels: Category I, Category II and Category III according to the risk level of medical devices. Category III medical devices are the highest risk medical devices, and their safety and effectiveness must be strictly controlled. In November last year, the "Dental Implant Abutment" project developed by Truysou obtained "the first Class III implantable medical device registration (non-exemption)" in Wenzhou, filling the gap in the production of local implanted medical device products.

The structural components of dental implants are implants, abutments, and crowns. The abutment is an auxiliary device for the implant in dental restoration and has the function of retention and stability. By improving the process of precision turning and milling composite processing of titanium-based materials, Truysou makes the processing accuracy of the target implant smaller than that of current market products, and has stronger dynamic fatigue strength and torsional strength; making the surface of the target implant The roughness is smaller and the surface exhibits super-hydrophilic properties. By studying material modification strategies, designing ideal implant structures, and combining special surface treatment methods, we can achieve high survival rates and aesthetic repair needs.
